When Kami asked me to do this session, as a surprise during her sisters bachelorette party, I was so excited and honored. (I also thought Kami was the best maid of honor ever for thinking of this idea!) We got it on the calendar last fall and as we got closer to the event date, we locked in the final plan: a photo session at the Wisconsin State Capitol building! I mean, is there a better place to capture a Capital City Bachelorette Party than with the building itself as the backdrop?!
Similar to Las Vegas, bachelorette parties operate under the similar slogan “what happens here, stays here.” Often times these parties are a complete surprise for the bride, meticulously planned by her bridesmaids, led by the maid of honor.
Kylie had no idea what her bachelorette party would bring but I am sure she knew it would be a blast! Without giving too much away her event included sixteen amazing gals including her bridesmaids and maid of honor. The day started off with fun outfits to fit to the Spring Break theme followed by cocktails at several fun locations in downtown Madison, a photo session with yours truly, a fun dinner turned evening with more cocktails and partying in honor of the bride to be!
Basically, it was perfect!

This was my first bachelorette party session and honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The session flowed so well and was so fun! My face literally hurt at the end from smiling so much.
