A week ago my lovely friend Cayla graduated from UW Madison with her Masters in Public Affairs. In the hours before graduation we snuck in a quick mini session to document the occasion and I am so glad we did! As I get older I have realized how important it is to capture the moments big and small.
We got together at their home and walked to a nearby park for photos. We made a quick stop at the neighborhood coffee shop on the way. As we approached the a group of perfect strangers cheered on Cayla in her cap and gown and congratulated her on her baby, Norah. (I shook Norah’s rattle like a tambourine.) The fun in those moments was electric.
We continued on our walk and sipped our coffee while we found the perfect photo location. Just look at these gorgeous photos!
