I recently had the joy of photographing this sweet family just two weeks after they became a family of four. The last session I did with them was when they welcomed Olivia, so it was especially meaningful to capture their first family session with baby Zachary.

For our photo session, we met at their home, which they recently purchased and moved into—Cody’s childhood home! As we toured the space, he shared stories about each room, reflecting on how they’ve been transformed for his own family. Zachary’s nursery got a fresh coat of minty paint after the removal of a classic Green Bay Packers wallpaper border from the ’90s. The cute woodland animal art and custom blanket brought the room together beautifully. Olivia’s room is a dream for any 3-year-old, complete with nearly the entire Paw Patrol gang of stuffed animals.

Zachary was peaceful and sweet, fitting perfectly into his family’s loving embrace. We captured some wonderful moments together, as well as some quiet shots in the nursery. Watching Olivia as a big sister was heartwarming; you could see her pride and awe whenever I asked her to look at her baby brother.

This charming session beautifully blends nostalgia with new beginnings, and I was honored to document this chapter in their lives.
