Photographing families as they grow is always a privilege, and this session was no different. I’ve known this family for years, but this time was special—Joey brought along his fiancé, Carissa.

We met for their photo session on their family farm in Wisconsin, surrounded by stunning fall colors. Dom and Caleb, now in high school, had that easygoing, fun energy typical of brothers. It didn’t take long for everyone to relax in front of the camera. Carissa fit right in, making the whole session feel even more meaningful.

The perfect weather, the gorgeous farm property, and the rustic backdrop of vibrant changing leaves made for some naturally beautiful shots, but the best part was capturing the family’s real connection. It was a laid-back, comfortable afternoon, and the photos reflect that—genuine moments between people who clearly mean a lot to each other. It’s always a pleasure to document these milestones.
