There’s something so special about photographing a two-year-old — that sweet mix of curiosity, independence, and pure joy. This little guy was full of energy from the moment we met at Tenney Park on a sunny fall morning. The air was crisp, the trees were showing off their golden leaves, and the playground was calling his name.
We started off exploring the paths and bridges, chasing the morning light that filtered through the trees. I love sessions like this — where play leads the way and real smiles come naturally. He was fascinated by everything: sticks, acorns, leaves and especially the pond with its last remaining summer lily pads.

Rather than posing, we focused on capturing him just as he is right now — adventurous, happy, and a little mischievous. Those big grins, serious concentration faces, and bursts of laughter are the moments parents will want to remember when this stage passes all too quickly.

By the end, his cheeks were a little rosy, his curls a tad windblown, and we had a gallery full of genuine, joyful images that perfectly captured life at two — curious, playful, and completely full of wonder.
